Voting is a Christian duty
The Bible teaches the Church how to think about and engage in politics. As such, voting is a Christian duty of biblical stewardship.
Not voting is a dereliction of duty
Voting allows Christians to influence society toward righteousness. Refusing to vote Biblical principles results in abandonment of society to anti-God secular forces.
Secular politics is shaped by vice, selfish ambition, and partiality.
"For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice."
- James 3:16
"Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. "

Engaging with Politics as Christians
Our first allegiance is to Christ. We vote and engage in politics as an act of stewardship. Voting is a privilege and a responsibility. Vote with wisdom, looking at the direction a candidate or party will take us. Use God's commands as your guide. Prioritize human life. Remember, you're voting for a sinner, not a savior.
If Christ claims sovereignty over every square inch of existence, how might our approach to politics and culture change if we truly lived this out?
